Cleanroom Pass-Thru Cabinets
Pass-through cabinets, also called pass-through chambers and pass-through windows, allow for the transfer of parts and equipment into and out of a cleanroom. These specialized entry systems reduce the need for people to enter your cleanroom, and, thanks to lower traffic within the cleanroom, contamination is significantly reduced.
Pass Thru Cabinets help control contaminants entering the clean room during pick-up and delivery of products or supplies. Maintaining a clean environment, yield and productivity are increased as delivery personnel and contaminants remain outside the clean room.
Standard doors are 1/2” thick clear acrylic with T-handle mechanical interlock, full length piano hinge and are gasketed for positive seal. Doors 30” and wider are equipped with a structural integrity bar.
Several material combinations are available:
• White high pressure laminate on all interior and exterior surfaces with 3/4” thick, high density particle board core for widths up to 28”. Larger Pass Thru Cabinets have a 1” thick core for structural integrity.
• All steel construction w/white powdercoat finish.
• All stainless steel construction.
Pass-Through Chambers
We offers standard and custom pass-thru chambers to meet your needs. Our pass-thru cabinets feature stainless steel construction—not the particle board that other manufacturers use.
Our stainless steel pass-thru chambers are constructed with a welded stainless steel shell and unique double-wall construction that encloses and protects the mechanical interlock. This double wall also creates a lipless, flush floor for easy material transfer and cleaning. These pass-thru cabinets are extremely strong and durable, are easy to clean, and provide superior aesthetics for your cleanroom or pharmacy. Except for the viewing windows, these pass-thru chambers are made entirely of metal.
All of our cleanroom pass-through cabinets feature doors with heavy-duty stainless steel frames, stainless steel continuous hinges, tempered safety glass windows, polyethylene edge trim gaskets, and stainless steel over-center compression latches. Stainless steel door frames add strength and prevent long-term warpage and cracking, a common problem with all-plastic doors.
